The village of Limnati has two churches.

One of them is located in the northern part of the community and is dedicated to Metamorphosis Soteros. It was built in the end of the 18th century. However, it had to undergo renovation several times due to the damages that it suffered from earthquakes and other natural disasters.

The other church is located in the southern part of the village and is dedicated to Timios Prodromos. Unfortunately, there is no evidence to suggest when this church was built.

However, it is estimated that it must have been built sometime in the 16th or the 17th century. There is an inauguration date which reads 1898, but a church can operate for many years until it is dedicated to a saint.

Limnati is a village with many chapels as, according to tradition, the village used to have many residents. In fact, tradition has it that there used to be a bishopric in Limnati, at the location “Piskopeia” and it is for this reason that so many chapels are found in the area.

Some of these chapels, which are spread along the entire territory of Limnati, are the following:

The chapel of Agia Parakevi, which is located northeast of the village, near the church of Metamorphosis Soteros.

The chapel of Agios Mamas, which is located in the centre of the village and more specifically under the age-long mastic tree.

The chapel of Agios Epifaneios, which is located northeast of the village.

The chapel of Agios Nicolaos, which is located southwest of the village.

The chapel of Agios Georgios, which is located next to the chapel of Agios Nicolaos.

The chapel of Agios Elias, which is located south of the village, at a distance of approximately 1 km.

The chapel of Agia Thekla, which is also located south of the village, at a distance of approximately 1 km.

The chapel of Agia Marina, which is located at a distance of approximately 1 km west of the village and next to the chapel of Agia Thekla.

The chapel of Saints Constantinou and Eleni, which is located at a distance of approximately 3 km, is in the south of the community.
